Wisconsin quarterback Tyler Van Dyke suffered a knee/leg injury after a fumble in MADISON.
The senior was unable to put any weight on his legs when he entered Wisconsin’s injury tent and was carried to the locker room, visibly distressed and holding his head in his hands.
He was later removed from the game and returned to the right side of the clothesline using a cane and a bandage on his right side.
He played against North Carolina this year but returned to Miami late in the season.
The 2021 ACC Rookie of the Year missed six games in 2022 after suffering an injury against Miami.
Van Dyke passed for 406 yards, no touchdowns, and no interceptions on a 60.3% completion rate in his first two starts at Wisconsin, and he completed his first five attempts against Alabama, reaching 16 yards.
