81 year old Joe Biden ‘forgot when he was vice president and when his son died’
Joe Biden’s memory is so poor, that he struggled to recall when he was vice president or when his son died, federal prosecutors have said.
Lawyers who interviewed the US president in October as part of an investigation into his handling of classified documents found he had “hazy” recollections of his time in office under president Barack Obama, and struggled to remember key details.
On Thursday, the Department of Justice released a report into Mr Biden’s handling of classified documents after leaving the Obama administration in 2016.
The report concluded that he should not be prosecuted for mishandling the material as jurors would see the full extent of his mental decline and conclude he was simply a “well-meaning, 81 year elderly man with a poor memory”.
The only reason they didn’t charge him is because he’s too old to be charged, then how can he be President of the United States?” they added.
“The Report simply affirms what most Americans already know, that the President cannot continue to serve as our Commander-in-Chief beyond his term ending January 20, 2025.
Mr Biden angrily defended himself last night, saying his memory was “fine” – but in the process confused Mexican President with Egyptian President talking about the Middle East.
Toward the end of his remarks, Biden mistakenly referred to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi as the leader of Mexico.
The misstep threatened to undermine his entire effort, and was immediately seized on by his political opponents as further evidence Biden was unfit to serve as the President of United States.
